DMRC BIBLE BOWL 2017
The Bible says in II Timothy 2:15 to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
As one form of the church’s obedience to this Word, we study through the annual Bible Bowl. This year’s scripture focus is on the book of St. John and other scriptures and Biblical foundational truths needed during this Christian walk.
Prior to the big event, each person is given a study guide to help prepare for the big competition. Other community churches are invited to participate as well. It is similar to the academic college bowl. The person with the most points wins. There are prizes, pictures, food, music, songs, praises, certificates, and trophies. It is a fun time to show as church families how well we have “studied to show ourselves approved unto God.”
Register now for this big summer event, Saturday, July 22, 12:00 noon. All ages are welcome.
Short Bowl Ages 3 – 6 John Ch. 1-3
Junior Bowl Ages 7-12 John Ch. 4-8
Teen Bowl Ages 13-19 John Ch. 9-13
Adult Bowl Ages 20 and up John Ch. 14-21
